Our client, a global manufacturer based in the greater Cleveland area that partners with top companies in electronics, medical devices, aerospace, and defense, is seeking a Senior Quality Manager.
This role will focus on leading the Quality team through QM initiatives, enhancing organizational performance, and driving continuous improvement while engaging with customers and key stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and ensure compliance with facility-wide quality programs while fostering a culture of quality across all functions, including engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain.
- Data-driven approach to decision making
- Lead the quality department and develop improvement plans to reduce defects, scrap costs, and rework hours.
- Implement and audit quality management systems
- Interface with internal and external customers to provide assistance regarding technical support
- Proactively track and enhance quality systems and processes to improve customer service, productivity, and cost efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Knowledge of and experience in Quality concepts and ISO procedures
- Experience in a manufacturing/plant/shop environment
- Managerial experience, with demonstrated ability to provide leadership to direct and indirect reports
- Strong business acumen - ability to interface with customers
- Knowledge and experience with statistical improvement methods, and root cause / corrective action development experience
- Due to ITAR requirements, all candidates must be US Citizens or Permanent Residents (i.e., US Citizen, US Permanent Resident, Green Card holder)
